DOTS COMMUNICATION ONLINE COURSE PARTICIPANT AGREEMENT

Between:

Dots HT Limited (“the Company”)

and

Participant (“the Participant”)

1. Purpose of Agreement

This Agreement sets out the terms under which the Participant is granted access to the Dots Communication Online Course (“the Course”) provided by Dots HT Limited. By enrolling in or purchasing the Course, the Participant agrees to the terms below.

2. Intellectual Property Rights

2.1. All materials, resources, videos, written content, images, assessments, and other intellectual property contained within or provided as part of the Course (“the Materials”) are owned by Dots HT Limited and are protected under applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

2.2. The “Dots” name, logos, and all related marks are registered trademarks of Dots HT Limited.

2.3. The Participant acknowledges that the Course and Materials are provided solely for personal, individual use and for the purpose of completing the Course.

3. Restrictions on Use

The Participant agrees that they shall not, under any circumstances:

a. Copy, reproduce, distribute, share, sell, or otherwise make available any Course Materials to any other individual, group, or organisation.

b. Repurpose, modify, translate, or adapt any of the Materials for any training, facilitation, or commercial use.

c. Use the Course or any of its contents for teaching, training, or consulting purposes without the express written consent of Dots HT Limited.

d. Grant access to any other person, either in whole or in part, to view or use the Course under the Participant’s name or login credentials.

4. Non-Transferable Licence

Upon payment of the Course fee, the Participant is granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Course Materials for their own personal learning only. No ownership rights are transferred to the Participant.

5. Breach of Agreement

Any breach of the terms of this Agreement may result in:

Immediate termination of the Participant’s access to the Course, without refund; and

Possible legal action to protect Dots HT Limited’s intellectual property rights.

6. Limitation of Liability

Dots HT Limited provides the Course and Materials “as is” and makes no guarantees as to outcomes or results. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dots HT Limited shall not be liable for any loss or damages arising from participation in or reliance on the Course content.

7. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

8. Acknowledgment and Acceptance

By by clicking “I Agree” during online registration, the Participant confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Agreement.
